The Daisy Chain Effect

The Daisy Chain Effect is the story of what happens when someone refuses to accept the world as it is.

Over 17 years, Miranda Daisy built Perform Ability from a bedroom conversation into a world-class inclusive performing arts organisation, without a business plan, without a salary for a decade, and without ever accepting that unfairness was inevitable.

Part memoir, part manifesto, part practical guide, this book is for anyone who sees something broken and feels the pull to fix it. For educators, advocates, dreamers, and builders. For anyone who has been told it's too risky, too hard, or too impossible.

Because one daisy can only do so much. But together, we create a chain.

About Miranda

Miranda Daisy is a inclusion advocate, educator, performer, and the founder of Perform Ability.

She has spent 17 years building what didn't exist, proving that performing arts and disability not only belong together, but that when they meet, something extraordinary happens.

She is the host of The Daisy Chain Effect podcast and an emerging speaker on inclusion and access in performing arts education.

She started building things. She hasn't stopped.

One daisy can only do so much. Together, we create a chain.
